Accurate psychic readings are not as easy to find as you may think. Finding available psychics however seems to be as easy as going online to your favorite search engine and simply typing in psychics in the search box. The results you get are numerous and no doubt presents a challenge in choosing from all the options you will find in the search engine results. There are so many choices that if you are thinking you might as well randomly make a selection and hope for the best, you’d better rethink that because getting an accurate psychic reading is NOT a simple process and choosing randomly can, in fact, result in getting inaccurate readings and may even result in you becoming more frustrated than you started out when you were only looking for psychic answers, or what I would more accurately described as real spiritual/intuitive answers.

I have been giving psychic readings, numerology and tarot readings for many years now. I started as an apprentice, which lasted six years before I began offering my talents and knowledge professionally. Since opening my site in 1999, I have probably given more than 20,000 professional readings. I also get psychic readings and have done quite a bit of research so I know first hand what is out there and today I am going to help you with some information that anyone should know when looking for an accurate psychic reading.

What Defines Accurate

That’s an easy one.  Accuracy is defined as receiving accurate guidance from a higher spiritual source that is channeled through a sentient (psychic, clairvoyant, empathic)  human being, who then reveals this information to you.  Accuracy occurs when one is receiving information from a true psychic intuitive who has the ability to obtain (channel) this information from a source (higher consciousness) beyond themselves.

There is a need in all of us to question things in our life; to wonder, to contemplate to verify, to know. Sometimes that need leads us to someone who can bring insight and clarity into a matter that may be troubling us based on Higher Guidance. Why is it that some can get the value of a spiritual consultation or psychic reading, while others become susceptible to fueling the human conditions such as emotional deprivation, depression, grief or perception of loss of any kind; and, instead of alleviating these things as a result of psychic advice regarding an issue in your life, the readings shift into filling an emptiness that becomes increasingly difficult to manage and triggers what is termed psychic addiction or dependency.

I recall a reading I was giving on a psychic network on the web, where thousands of advisers were offering their services–although no special skills or knowledge is required to give advice there. Since I own and operate my own service outside of any network, I have been able to experience a sharp disparity in the seekers who call network psychics and seekers who call for a private consultation.

A psychic reading is something that can be a very rewarding as well as a valuable experience. It is something that is not so hard to find; you can find them on networks on the web, you can find ads for them in the back of magazines, or promoted on television commercials. They are not hard to find–or are they?

With the immediate availability of psychic readers all over the world, it should be a very simple process to find one. One of the most common ways to find a psychic is to do a search on the internet. You type in real psychic readings or “authentic psychic readings.” After all, with the very prevalent perception of all psychics being fake or tricksters, you definitely want to be careful in your search because you want to make sure that you are going to get a real one. Most of us know that intuition exists and there is quite a bit of documentation out there supporting the credibility of gifted persons who are able access energy and see information connected to you clairvoyantly, empathically and in other ways. Some use their natural gifts without any tools while others use their gifts using divination tools such as tarot cards, numerology, runes, I Ching, and list goes on. In short, people with special “spiritual gifts” have the ability to tune into people voluntarily and sometimes involuntarily, giving them access to hidden truths and eventualities about others.

But wait…..hold on….

Let’s say you are one who has had many psychic readings. You’ve gone to so many and you’ve heard many things that sounded true, things that you hoped would turn out to be true, and you spent a lot of time and money waiting for the predictions you were told would happen, to happen. After talking to so many and being told the same things by so many, and after patiently waiting, nothing ever happens. Why is that?

What kind of Psychic Reading is best for You?

When you have chosen which route you are going to take, whether or not it’s phonephone, Internet, or in real life, the very next thing you want to work out is which methodology you want your psychic to use. There are a variety number| selection} of different strategies out there, and some of them may respond better to certain people than others. It actually depends on the type of energy that your body is exuding, because if your energy is in tune with the strategy that the psychic is using, it is very likely that the outcome of your reading will show that. It may take some time to find the right method for you, so it’s vital to be acquainted with your choices. If one of them stands out to you, it is very possible that approach is intended for you. So you can gain some familiarity with the different psychic approaches, here are three of them for you to acquaint yourself with.

1. Tarot cards – These have been about for hundreds, maybe thousands, of years. Although the origin isn’t definitely known, there are claims that they were first utilized in Egypt in traditional times. Psychics use tarot cards by shuffling the deck and then placing them into a set pattern of their choice. Relying on which card is showing in which position, whether the card is the wrong way up or right side up, and cards in the vicinity of one another, the psychic will be able to tell you more about yourself and what you have in store for you in the future.

Getting a real psychic reading can actually be very elusive.  There are so many psychic venues–psychic lines, psychic websites, bookstores, gypsy psychic houses, etc., where you can get a psychic reading.  In addition, there are several types of readings that can be experienced.  There are clairvoyants, tarot card readers; there are psychics who read runes or tea leaves; or psychics who use other tools to conduct a reading such as numerology and astrology.

Psychic Tools

You may be wondering if a psychic uses tools, does this mean they are not psychic or have diminished ability?  Let’s get something clear. Psychics who use tools can very much be naturally psychic or spiritually gifted.  In fact, they can be quite powerful in this capacity.  When a person is using higher spiritual gifts to access information which would otherwise be hidden, should they decide to use tools does not lessen their ability in the least and could, in fact, be a powerful aid for them.

There are some people who use tools because they are learning.  Sometimes a person desiring to become a professional psychic with raw psychic ability, will start out by studying the Tarot Cards.  After time and training, a person starting out with Tarot can gradually sharpen their skill to the point where they can actually offer their talent on a professional level.  Studying to become a psychic (or I prefer to be called a psychic spiritual counselor), entails more then learning meanings of tarot cards or studying other ancient tools.  You have to have a gift if you are to provide an authentic experience, not only for a querent, but for the spiritually gifted as well.  The Tarot is quite an ancient tool of divination.  A common dictionary meaning of divination is “the practice of attempting to foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge by occult or supernatural means,” with very accurate results–and this too depending on the skill and level of psychic ability.

If you are familiar with me and my concepts, then you may already be aware that I have been trying to help change some of the negative views that many people have about psychics and what they do. Since I have covered some of those aspects in other articles I want to focus more on what a psychic should be and what you can reasonably expect to learn from a psychic reading.

The most profound concept that came into my awareness at the beginning of this journey for me as a “psychic” advisor was the idea that we are all here to learn something; to grow and evolve towards perfection of the soul. When a real psychic is doing their job, they are assisting you in an awareness of certain aspects of your life when you seek out psychic advice. The reason psychic advice can be so powerful is because it can provide much needed insight into your life that you would otherwise not be aware of because you may be so embroiled in the day-to-day activities and events of your life that you shut out your own intuition and your own ability to access your Higher Self. Psychics are accessing unseen elements in nature; however within all of us exists a hidden, decipherable code that persons with highly developed psychic intuition and/or with the use of certain divination tools, can more readily access. These persons were either born with a natural gift and/or has developed it.

My understanding is that we all possess innately all the attributes, all the powers needed to fulfill God’s purpose for us on this plane and prepare us for transition into the next level, world, etc.  This is our training ground in other words.  However Psychic test is something the writings tell us to not consciously or actively develop.  But if someone already possesses such a power how can they stop using it?  For example the Master was reported to have foreseen a   problem in travel to America on the Titanic and for sure he was right.   Should he have ignored this inner warning? I don’t think so.  Since he is the overall Perfect Exemplar of the Baha’i Revelation then we need to follow his teaching, both what he wrote and how he lived.

The term psychic powers is a general term covering a lot of specifics but again while the Writings prohibit the active development of such powers they also permit the use of spiritual healing which to me is a specific type of psychic power and it is not prohibited.

Take for example the extraordinary powers of animals that seem to sense when a storm is coming long before humans can.  They have this inner sense and so do we but because of our free will we have made choices that often pervert those inner and innate powers.  The Master covered this too in SAQ regarding the Three Characters, i.e. Innate, Inherent and Acquired.

I have certain friends who appear to have a high degree of psychic ability and when they tell me their thoughts I listen and then check it out for myself.  I don’t just blindly accept what they say.  But they also don’t go around telling everyone what to do or how to live, etc.  They only respond when asked.
